This privacy policy explains how NavalGuru collects, uses, shares, and otherwise processes personal data, as well as your rights under data protection laws.
NavalGuru Crewing Manager ("we" or "us") provides an Android mobile application service allowing users to manage crew and vessels. We act as the controller for the personal data we handle.
We do not collect any personal data directly from users except Email Address and Phone Number required in registration process and does not collect any other data about how you use the app.
Log Data: We collect error log data, which may include information like the device location, IP address, OS version, app configuration, and times of use. This is not linked to individuals.
The log data is used solely to monitor and improve the app and service. It cannot identify or target any individual.
We only process the minimal log data to fulfill our legitimate interests of monitoring and improving service. We process no personal data beyond this.
We do not share any personal data with third parties except to provide the app (e.g. through our app store platform, clouds services to host the back-end). Data is only transferred outside the EEA to these platforms under appropriate safeguards.
We retain the log data only as needed to maintain, troubleshoot and improve the service. Non-current logs are deleted after one month.
Users have the right under the GDPR to access, rectify, delete and restrict the processing of their data. As we do not intentionally collect personal data, there is no such data to provide, rectify or delete. You may uninstall the app to cease any further passive log data collection.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe the processing violates applicable data protection law.
The app uses certain Google services to function, which have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for how Google processes data from the use of their services in our app.
